11. 45 am Arrival
Arrive at the beautiful Cucumber Fields and enjoy a delicious fresh juice from The Program UK to get you ready for the day ahead.
12.00 pm – Energising Pilates class with Grace
Focusing on standing work and functional movement to energise and revitalise you.
12.30pm – Seasonal nutrition and lifestyle talk
Grace and Hannah Hope will lead a discussion on Spring nutrition and how we can tune in to the seasons for a more relaxed, calmer and more fulfilled lifestyle.
Hannah started her journey with nutrition after suffering with IBS related issues in her teens which progressed to further undiagnosed gut problems post pregnancy. She couldn’t find any help in the traditional world of medicine so retrained as a nutritionist to get things under control. She helps women to be empowered to live the life they deserve and achieve wellness.She has 3 children, including two teenage boys and a delightful Wheaten terrier.
1.30 pm – Lunch provided by My Backyard Kitchen (with opportunity for massages as an add on)
Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the team at My Backyard Kitchen and take some time to walk around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Cucumber Fields.
2.30 pm – Spring Tonic with Katie Shellard
Have you ever wondered about the plants growing around you and how to use them medicinally? In this interactive session we’ll be looking at some locally available cleansing herbs to support our lymphatic system and energy levels as we transition into Spring. We’ll be sampling herbal teas, tinctures and will make a Spring Tonic together, for you to take home with you. Discover the magical world of Sensory Herbalism!
Katie is a Sensory Herbalist, Massage Therapist and self-confessed plant nut based in Hertfordshire. She’s been supporting clients for over 14 years via one-to-one sessions as well as hosting group workshops. From foraging and what we eat, to herbal medicine and permaculture, the plant world provides us with natural tools to address specific issues, restore balance and optimise wellbeing. It is Katie’s passion to connect people with their plant allies.
4.00pm – Break with a superfood snack
4.15 pm – Release based Pilates class
Focusing on release and restoration and why it is so important to incorporate these in our day-to-day life.
5.00 pm – De-stress meditation
During the session we’ll find grounding and connection to ourselves through simple breath work and relaxation. You’ll be left feeling restored and ready to re-engage with the world!
5.30 pm – Round Up
